State  Forestry – Ardino is situated in Western part of the Eastern Rhodopes, completely in Arda river basin region. The total area of woodland fond is 20 961 hektares, devided into State forest fond - 20 647 hektares /or 97%/ and 630 hektares /or 3%/ not state forest.
