State Forestry - Kirkovo is situated in the Southern part of Kardjali district. It is bounded by State Forestry -Krumovgrad on the East, State Forestry - Zlatograd on the West and Public Forestry-Momchilgrad on the North. Its border on the South tauches the border of RGreece. The total area of the woodland fond of the Forestry is 33 446 hektares, 33 370 hektares /or 99.8%/ of which are public property and the rest 76 hektares /or 0.2%/ are not state forests.
